Grandad loved nothing more than being in his garden, our garden or anybody else's garden for that matter. He was very proud of the fruits and veg growing in his greenhouse and he sent me home to mum and dad on many occasions with a bag of tomatoes. The smell of fresh tomatoes still reminds me of him. Grandad designed my mum and dads garden when they moved in and I know he helped uncle terry trim his trees every year. He always wore his special overalls and what I now refer to as a grandad Gilson hat. My son has one! Such a shame he wasn't here to meet him. Love you always grandad xxxx
